Scrabble Club

The Leisure World Scrabble Club met on the last two Wednesdays in February and on March 5. The club meets each Wednesday in Clubhouse 3, Room 5, from 1-4 p.m. New members, including beginning players, are welcome.

The members combined for 23 scores above 300, two of them over 400. There were 12 bingos (i.e. the use of all seven tiles in one move).

Larry Edgar topped 300 seven times, with a high score of 369. Suthy Edgar had four totals above 300, including a 473 and a 445. She had eight bingos.

Diane Seeger bettered 300 four times, with a best score of 380 and three bingos. Myrna Loscuadro and Donna Perkins each had three scores above 300. Their best scores were a 350 and a 333, respectively. Loscuadro had one bingo.

Sylvia Makus and Sue Ann Gass each had a score above 300—a 310 and a 308 respectively.
