In scripture, when something is repeated, it means it is extremely important. Biblical instructions regarding love, how Christians should demonstrate their love for others, and why they should demonstrate their love for others, are themes emphasized enough times to understand the vital importance of love in truly living the Christian life. Continuing in 1 John 4:19-21, Pastor Chuck Franco will give a sermon titled “We Love Because…” When one has a mandate to act, knowing the reason why makes following the mandate more urgent.

The Bible Study is currently on session four in the “Why Does Jesus Matter?” series by J.S. Freear. This week’s session, titled, “Who Did Jesus Hang Out With, and Why?” focuses on the people Jesus spent time with. In many instances, those personal interactions exposed Him to criticism and accusations. Are believers asked to do the same?
