Paws, Claws and Beaks Club

The Paws, Claws and Beaks Club has released its schedule for emergency preparation webinars for the year. All webinars will be hosted on the Adobe Connect Platform. It is recommended that participants download and use the Adobe Connect App.

All webinars will be recorded and made available on FEMA’s Preparedness portal at https://www.fema.gov/emergency-managers/ individuals-communities/preparedness-webinars. For more information about the webinars or how to sign up, call Bonnie Kaplan at 714-930-5314.

• Wednesday, March 5: Animals in Disasters, by Samantha Royster (webinar).

• Thursday, March 20, 9:30 a.m.: Emergency Prep Drills Radio Usage Review, (Kaplan’s house).

Wednesday, April 2: De-escalating Strategies Anyone Can Learn, by Diane “Dee” Lehrman (webinar).

Thursday, April 17, 10 a.m.: First Emergency Prep Drill in Clubhouse 2 parking lot.

Monday, Sept. 8, 10 a.m.: Emergency Radio Usage Review (Kaplan’s house).

•Thursday, Sept. 18, 10 a.m.: Second Emergency Prep Drill in Clubhouse 2 parking lot. Picnic to follow in Clubhouse 1 picnic area at noon.

Links to webinar will be emailed to interested members to participate. Reminder calls will be made for training and drills to all that are on the calling sign up list.
