Assembly of God

Someone once said, “Your actions speak so loudly that I can’t hear what you are saying.” Being told “I love you” is a far better thing when the actions of the one who is saying it confirm the sentiment behind the words. 1 John 3:16-20 illustrates the integrity of Jesus’s words and his actions and demands the same of Christians today. Let the verbal message coincide with physical actions so that no fault can be found in one’s identification with Christ. Pastor Chuck Franco will preach a sermon titled “What is Real Love?” on Sunday, Feb. 23, as he continues his series on the scriptural definitions of love. The Hymn Sing will be held at 6 p.m. in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby on Feb. 16. All Leisure World residents and friends are invited to sing favorites from the hymnal.

The Wednesday Bible study is on session 2 in the “Why Does Jesus Matter?” series and will study the question “Why Did Jesus Come?” The brief video is followed by guided discussion.
