Traveling Tigers will discuss member’s trip to Portugal

The Traveling Tigers will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at noon in Clubhouse 3, Room 9. The meeting will begin with a potluck.

Members and guests who would like to participate should bring a coffee cup and a dish to share. A short business meeting will commence at 1 p.m. followed by a presentation by guest speaker Leila Claudio, who will speak about her trip to Portugal.

Claudio will start by talking about two festivals in Portugal, as well as different areas like Lisbon, Cascais, Evora, Sintra and Porto. People will learn about the ancient monument in Evora that is 2,000 years older than Stonehenge.

Members will also discuss the club’s potential seven-day cruise on Oct. 25 from Long Beach to San Francisco, Santa Barbara, San Diego and Enseneda, Mexico.
