Concerning bicycle safety, in Mutual 15 there are twostory buildings with breezeways. There have been bicyclists riding through the breezeways creating a hazard to those shareholders who may be entering/exiting their units. Please walk your bicycles through the breezeways for the safety of all in your path as well as your own safety.

Fred Wind’s poem, “After the Fire” (Jan. 30) struck all the right chords with me. Fred’s sensitive handling of memories, evoked by loss, is a something we all can relate with.

A writer asks if one might be experiencing “buyer’s remorse” with the election of president Trump (Jan. 23). Hardly. After four years of non compos mentis, with unelected bureaucrats controlling the White House and having Joe Biden pardon his family and the illegally constructed J6 committee, we finally have a man who has taken charge and is doing for the American people what he ran on. In two weeks Donald Trump, working with his newly appointed Homeland Secretary Kristi Noem and border czar Tom Homan, has secured our border (that we were told couldn’t be secured) and begun deporting illegal alien terrorists, murderers, rapists, and child and drug traffickers.

Israeli and American hostages are being returned. Hostages held by Venezuela were returned home. The President eliminated federal funding for abortions, defending the Hyde Amendment. He also eliminated the funding of “gender mutilation” surgeries and signed an executive order banning men/ boys from competing in women/ girls’ sports.

This week, Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency has uncovered the money laundering of leftist causes that have funded terrorists, LGBTQ and DEI causes internationally, open-border NGO’s that enabled the bum-rush of “illegal aliens” at the southern border, and friendly-media sources (POLITICO, AP, BBC, etc.), which censored American citizens and fabricated news articles, working in concert with the CIA and the State Department that lead to the lawfare and impeachment of Donald Trump. Your (my) money was used in an effort to effect “regime-change” in America.
