Congregation Sholom

Congregation Sholom will meet in person and on Zoom on Friday, Feb. 14, at 6:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9 with Rabbi Karen Isenberg, and on Saturday, Feb. 15 with Rabbi Mymon at 10 a.m. An Oneg will follow the services.

Saturday’s Torah reading will be Yitro from Exodis. Yitro (“Jethro”) begins as Moses reunites with his father-in-law Yitro and accepts his advice to appoint judges who will help them govern the Israelites. The Israelites prepare to encounter God at Mount Sinai. God descends amidst fire, smoke, thunder and the blast of a shofar and gives the Ten Commandments.
