At the Jan. 27 Monday pool league, I Don’t Care won big over The Renegades 10-3. Frank Sablan and Wild!Fire Christensen of I Don’t Care each won both their singles matches and all four of their doubles. This puts I Don’t Care in a tie for first place with The Snipers, at 18 wins and eight losses after two weeks.

The Snipers beat The Cue Crew 9-4 as Guta Basner, the C player for The Snipers, won six games and all of her doubles matches.

Dead Eye beat Anywhere But There 8-5. John Barth and Ray Friedrichsen each won five games for Dead Eye. Jennifer Spindler, the C player for Dead Eye, won four games. Anytime a player wins four games they are doing better than average, since everyone plays seven games.

At the Jan. 29 Wednesday pool league, The Sharks beat Light It Up 8-5 to lead the league with a record of 18 wins and eight losses. Although The Sharks only won one of their six singles matches, they won all the doubles, plus the eight ball triples match at the end of the night. Brian Burke won six games for The Sharks.

The Favorites edged RDM 7-6. The Favorites led 7-2, but lost the last four games.

Three Layers Deep beat The Burners 9-4. Steve Edrich and Linda Patton of Three Layers Deep both won five games and both of their singles matches. The Burners staged a come-back by winning the last three games.
