LW Korean Community Church

Leisure World Korean Community Church (LWKCC) is located inside Leisure World by the St. Andrews Gate.

Sunday services are held in the sanctuary at 11:50 a.m.

Early morning prayer services are from Tuesday through Saturday at 6, also in the sanctuary, led by the senior pastor.

Following the fires, churches prayed and donated to those in need. Pastor Yong of Santa Monica church delivered a sermon titled “Praise God.”

“I created these people for myself, and I want them to praise me. It was a service praising God who chose us,” said Yong. He added: “Human weakness is difficult to grow but can be destroyed in an instant. Therefore, let us overcome difficulties through life of faith attached to the body of Christ.”

After the service, the order of testimony and praise was set with a “Pine Tree” song by Yong and “He Saved a Sinner Like Me” on flute, which he studied at the Juilliard School of Music. He traveled the world playing the flute and served as a missionary, including in Ukraine.
