LW Baptist Church
The Bible says early Christians were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, and to the breaking of bread and a prayer.
The 10 a.m. Sunday worship in Clubhouse 4 will emphasize the importance of commitance to the communion service. This service is a symbolic feast in Christ’s honor. It celebrates how Jesus came and gave his life and rose from the dead for everyone’s salvation.
Early Christians practiced this communion together to remember Jesus’ sacrifice for them and look forward to a future feast with him in glory called the marriage supper of the lamb.
The Old Testament prophecy foretold this future meal prepared by God himself, and the Lord Jesus spoke of this future love feast with his people.
