Community Church

So many people screen their calls these days. Those who grew up with a landline without answering machines, answered their phone as it rang. Nowadays it seems shocking to many. People cannot wait to see who called and then either decide to pick up the phone or ignore it and let it go to a voicemail.

In 1 Corinthians 15.1-11, Paul writes to Corinthians to remind them of the message he shared with them, which he describes as the ground upon which the Corinthians stand. This Sunday, the Community Church will look at where it stands. Those who are looking to make a stand for the love of God and for the world are welcome to join.

On Sunday, Feb. 16 at 4 p.m. the flutist Pija Hočevar and pianist Sonia Lee will perform the duets by Claude Debussy, Franz Liszt, Antonín Dvořák and more at the Community Church. Tickets are $20 for seniors and $15 for students. Refreshments will be served afterward. All are welcome.

The LW Community Church is located inside Leisure World by St. Andrews Gate at 14000 Church Place. Those who are feeling anxious or uncertain and looking for a sanctuary and safe community are welcome. A Sunday service is held at 9:50 a.m. Come early for a cup of coffee in the Narthex. Everyone is welcome, especially the first-time worshippers. Come see what this friendly church is all about.
