Faith Christian Assembly

On Sunday, Feb. 2, and the first Sunday of each month after that, at its 10:30 a.m. service, Faith Christian Assembly will take a special time for Holy Communion. The midweek Bible Study service is on Wednesdays at 11 a.m.

As Christians, people take the Communion because they are following Jesus’ directive when he said: “Keep doing this in memory of me,” 1 Corinthians 11:25. The wine is a symbolic of Jesus’ shed blood, done for the forgiveness of people’s sins, and bread is a symbol of his broken body, which he endured for believers’ healing and wholeness. Taking Communion is a reminder of a sacrifice that not only represents the New Covenant people have in him, but God’s immeasurable love for all. People don’t have to be members to join Communion, just as long as they have accepted Christ as their Savior.

All are welcome to come worship and hear the inspiring Biblebased teaching from Pastor Sheri Leming that may answer some questions in the week ahead. Stay for a fellowship afterward and experience the First Christian Assembly’s special community and become a part of it. Fath Christian Assembly is located at the corner of Seal Beach Boulevard and St. Andrews Drive at 13820 Seal Beach Blvd. in Seal Beach.
