Congregation Sholom
Congregation Sholom will meet in person and on Zoom on Friday, Jan. 31, at 6:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9 with Rabbi Karen Isenberg, and on Saturday, Feb. 1 with Rabbi Mymon at 10 a.m.
Saturday’s Torah reading will be Bo from Exodus. Bo (“Come”) recounts the last three plagues that God inflicts on the Egyptians: locusts, darkness and death of firstborns. God commands the Israelites to offer a Passover lamb sacrifice. After the last plague, Pharaoh and the Egyptians demand that the Israelites leave.
Congregation Sholom rehearsals for “A Non-political Purim Spiel” are every Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 8, until Purim, which is on Thursday, March 13. Those who wish to help behind the scenes are welcome to attend as well.
