Scrabble Club

The Leisure World Scrabble Club meets each Wednesday in Clubhouse 3, Room 5, from 1-4 p.m. New members are welcome.

The club met on Jan. 8 and 15. The members posted 19 scores above 300, of which five were higher than 400. There were 15 bingos (i.e. the use of all seven tiles in one move).

Larry Edgar topped 300 six times, with a high score of 459 and one bingo. Suthy Edgar had four totals higher than 300 and four bingos. Her best score was a 419.

Bob Ruderman had three scores above 300, all of them higher than 400. He had six bingos and a best score of 443.

Diane Seeger and Myrna Loscuadro each two scores better than 300. Their respective best scores were 378 and 374. Loscuadro had two bingos.

Jim Schneiderman and Sylvia Makus each topped 300 once. Respectively, their best scores were a 324 and a 316. Schneiderman had two bingos.
