Community Karaoke
The Community Karaoke Club will host its annual Country Western Karaoke Jubilee on Jan. 29. It’s the night to don cowboy hats and boots, kick up heels and sway to boot-scootin’ melodies sung by fellow residents and neighbors.
Over 40 folks entertained the audience on Jan. 15 with a variety of music during the fast-paced, joyful evening. Some karaoke entertainers were captivating, some bubbly and some sang straight from the heart. Sue and Walt Piippo gave a soft pop tune harmonizing their voices.
Several other duets were appreciated by the audience. Craig Gall sang a strong “Fly Me To The Moon.” Flo Lee did a powerful “Eternally.” Karen Morris sang a lively “I Gotta Get to You” by George Strait. Lu DeSantis wowed the audience with “Sound of Silence.” Julie Nulad sang the beautiful hit, “A Certain Smile”.
Practice a hillbilly tune or a country ballad on Monday in Clubhouse 6 from 1-3 p.m. All are welcome to join the fun each Wednesday evening from 5:30-9:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 1.
