LW Women’s Golf Club

Forty-two women gathered at the Leisure World golf course for the weekly LW Women’s Golf Club tournament on Jan. 7. Play for the day was low gross, low net, and circle hole on No. 2. Several women landed their ball in the circle including Angela Yoo, Grace Choi, Veronica Chang and Sun Lee.

A flight winners: Linda Herman, 27, low gross; Angela Yoo, 24, low net.

B flight winners: Margie Thompson, 30, low gross; Alison Kim, 28, low net.

C flight winners: Marilyn Hewitt, 30, low gross; Connie Kang, 25, low net.

D flight winners: Uchiyama Emiko, 32, low gross; Judi Ornoff, 26, low net.

2025 dues are being collected. The cost is $30 for the year which gets members in most of the tournaments. Remit by Friday, Jan. 31.
