Scripture reminds God's people to, “Flee foolish and harmful desires. Follow righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith.” The point is to finish well in life. Like a race, it is one thing to begin well, but it matters also how one finishes.
