Flowering Step celebrated a decade of dancing in LW

FLOWERING STEP LINE DANCE

The Flowering Step Line Dance Club has recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary in Clubhouse 2. Led by dance instructor Young-Ah Ko, resident of Mutual 14, 62 members enjoyed entertainment provided by other dancers, catered lunch and gifts. Some of the members have been with the club since its conception. Twenty of them are married couples.

Instructor Ko, who also teaches at her studio in the Korean American Federation in Garden Grove, brings passion and energy to the line dance genre with the goal of combining fitness and fun for seniors. She does this as a labor of love, free of charge. The club meets on Mondays (except for the third Monday) in Clubhouse 2 at 10 a.m. On a third Monday of every month the club meets in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby at 10 a.m.
