Women’s Golf Tournament

The Leisure World Women’s Golf Club will have a special Shotgun Tournament on Tuesday, May 2, with all golfers starting at 8:15 a.m. People can sign up in the golf starter clubhouse. Following the tournament, there will be a gathering at the Clubhouse 1 picnic area.

The winners of the spring tournament were: Flight A— Low Gross: Jessica Choi, 63; Low Net: Janice Turner, 55. Flight B— Low Gross: Chong Hee Kim, 63; Low Net: Judy Kim, 53. Flight C— Low Net: Marilyn Hewitt, 64; Low Net: Pam Krug, 48. Flight D— Low Net: Emiko Uchiyama, 82; Low Net: Neva Senske, 60.

Twenty eight women golfers participated in the April 4 weekly tournament. They played for low gross, low net and Circle Hole No. 2, which goes over the lake and was not accomplished during the tournament. The winners were: Flight A— Low Gross: Jane Song, 29; Low Net: Linda Herman, Jassica Choi and Lisa Kim, 26.

Flight B— Low Gross: Chung Hee Kim, 29; Low Net: Sang An, 23. Flight C— Low Gross: Sue Yokomi and Sally Park, 34; Low Net: Patti Littrell, 24.

Flight D— Low Gross: Connie Kang, 36; Low Net: Emiko Uchiyama, 25.
