Women’s Golf League

It was a chilly Tuesday morning for the 37 Women golfers participating in the Jan. 31 weekly tournament.The women played for low gross and low net. The winners were: Flight A— Low Gross: tie between Lisa Kim and Jassca Choi, 26; Low Net: tie between Devora Kim and Linda Herman, 26.

Flight B— Low Gross: tie between Alison Kim and Judy Kim, 30; low net: Bert Thompson, 24 .

Flight C— Low Gross: tie between Sang An and Pam Krug, 32; low net: tie between Sun Lee and Sue Yokomi, 26.

Flight D— Low Gross: Connie Kang, 34; low net: tie between Elizabeth Butterfield and Patty Littrell, 24.

The club holds tournaments every Tuesday. The sign-up sheet is posted in the golf clubhouse.

The club meets the first Tuesday of each month in Clubhouse 3, Room 1, at 3:30 p.m. Elizabeth Butterfield is the social chair and she always provides a festive array of snacks and entertainment.

Members and prospective members are encouraged to attend and participate in the festivities.
