Faith Christian Assembly

Life brings challenges to everyone, and at times, these challenges can seem overwhelming. Faith Christian Assembly believes in the power of prayer and holds a weekly prayer service on Sundays at 5 p.m., prior to its evening service at 5:30 in the prayer room. People pray for needs within the congregation and families, and for needs far and wide in the community and beyond. LWers are welcome to join the group in prayer and bring their own prayer requests.

Eugene Peterson’s Message Bible gets to the heart of the matter with its paraphrase of Ephesians 6:13: “Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.”

Faith Christian Assembly’s regular Sunday service times are at 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The pre-service prayer is on Sundays at 5 p.m. The midweek Bible study held on Wednesdays at 11 a.m. is People can call the church office at 562-598-9010 for updated schedule information or to receive a free copy of the church’s newsletter.
