Joyful Line Dance

Joyful Line Dance Club meets on Thursdays in Clubhouse 6 upstairs, from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. It has multiple leaders who take turns leading the class. They are Albert Comia, Connie Peck, Daisy Ramos, Chung Cha Lewis, George Pinada, Sunny Kim, Caryn Stel and Anna Derby.

Each class begins with a warm up dance with Peck and continues with cha-cha, rumba, West Coast swing, electric slide, cumbia, fox trot, samba, disco, tango, salsa, merengue, boogie jive, swing, and waltz with Tennessee waltz, led by Comia. Occasionally, Lewis and Pinada take the lead to demonstrate new dance moves for the members. Everyone was happy to see their dance family after a two-week break and holiday festivities. The club appreciates its leaders and members for continuous attendance and support.

For safety, classes are limited to 35 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Face masks and exercise shoes are strongly recommended.Nomembership or registration fees are required, but donations are welcome.
