Community Karaoke
It was a full house for karaoke Wednesday enjoying the music and the animated singers. It was a happy night as people listened to “Treat Me Nice” sung by Vito Villamor and “Love Portion No. 9” by Karen Morris.
Wayne Urban was a hit with “Old Dogs & Children.” “Mr Bojangles” was fun for Donald Horning.
Changing the pace was Susan Kelleghan’s beautiful “Lost Without Your Love” and Anna Le’s “Winner Takes It All.”
Bob Barnum’s “Best of My Love” captured the audience. First time singers Randi Allen and Leslie Wickman were applauded and encouraged.
Glen Brazeal did fine with a showtune “It’s Impossible.” Helen Schultz sang a popular gospel hymn “In The Garden.”
The annual Country-Western Jamboree night is Jan. 25. Polish your boots to kick up your heels and don your cowboy hat. The audience can look forward to some toe-tappin’ music. There will be treats to eat.
The club thanks Essie Hicks, Barbie May and others for their help with the karaoke potluck held last week.
Over 65 happy folks clapped and were charmed by the enthusiasm of the singers and enjoyed the rhythm of the music.
