Community Karaoke
Forty karaoke enthusiasts entertained the audience last Wednesday, many wearing eyecatching Halloween costumes. “Spooky” set the theme of the night sung by Tony Tupas.
David Noble found another themed song, “Witchy Woman.” Vinny Correnti, looking like a mean pirate, did “Mack the Knife.” Kenny Notorleva chose “Witchcraft.”
Ellen Brannigan kept it going with “Old Black Magic.” Vito Villamor and others singing catchy tunes had the room dancing to the music.
Karen Morris did a peppy “Rainy Day People.”
Pat Paternoster sang an old Freddy Fender hit and Barbie May did another “But I Do.” “I Got My Mojo Working” was a fun tune sung by Richard Yokomi.
Chocolate cake and submarine sandwiches were enjoyed while the audience encouraged karaoke singers.
The club thanks David Noble, Josie Cade, Tony Tupas and the other helpers.
Karaoke night is held every Wednesday in Clubhouse 1 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Hot coffee and snacks are usually available. Everyone is welcome.
