LW Poetry

This feature showcases original poems by members of the Creative Writers Club of Leisure World and other GRF members.

January

January’s cold nips fingers and toes.

In his rocking chair, grandpa dozes.

Dad and the boys are shoveling snow.

Mom and the girls are mixing cookie dough. Gram is knitting and humming a hymn.

Welcome, January, let the new year begin.
